Wit, wisdom and a few wisecracks Year 2002

Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sbharwal have done it again! This time with " Wizwits", Roald Dahl's novel, " "The Witches" music by Joe Santana.

Experimentation is the keyword with Kids World. The word 'wizwits' you do not find in any directory. It has been coined by the two scriptwriters Lushin Dubey and Bubbles.

The musical opens in the make belief world of witches and wizards the land of Wizwits beautifully created by Iftikhar Mulk Chisti and Ashok Bhagat's light design.

Beautiful songs, also jointly written by the two scriptwriters.

Through many an adventure and some funny situations laced with dance and songs, the little boy with the help of his friends uses the same potion on the wizwits which they had been using on the children.

All the Wizwits with the exception of one are now turned into mice and the one spared by the boy, in turn, brings back our hero to his normal self and thus with the victory of good over evil the curtain comes down with the entire cast dancing and singing joyfully to a thunderous applause from the audience.

Iftikhar Mulk Chisti's set design and Ashok Bhagat's light design even if he missed two or three cues, created the right atmosphere and mood for the action.

Babush Joe Santana's music as usual enriched the presentation and lyrics, also written by the two scriptwriters, delighted the audience.

The presentation had some excellent performances but it would be unfair not to single out the young actors for the cast gave a well coordinate performance with split second timing and pauses theatre were eloquent.
